My 365 Quilt Pattern

Here is a picture of the pattern I created for my quilt:

Of course if you choose to do a similar quilt, you do not have to use my pattern at all. Next time I post, I will outline the specifics of my pattern if anyone wants to give it a try. But really you could do a quilt as simple as 365 blocks written on and sewn together. No matter what it looks like, I will be special to you and your family.

I have also started a Flickr group for my project so all my pictures will be grouped together. It can be found here: 365 Day Quilt Maybe I'll even get around to making a bloggy button or something too. :)

Remember if you do decide to take this journey, you can start any day of the year!! So long as you go 365 days, it doesn't matter when you start. My first official block was January 31, 2010, so not a special day at all. :) By the time you are done, you'll have a real slice of your life all sewn up into a quilt.

Cheers!
Rachel

Very neat! I'd be interested in doing this just not right now. Maybe later this year. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this!

It is a big undertaking, but that's why I kind of liked the idea of starting whenever ... You cna start the project in 6 months and just go for 365 days! If you do start it soemday, I'd love to hear about it! :)

OH my goodness! Another project! :). I am going to prepare all my supplies and when it is all ready I will start! I was just on Leanne's site and she had some neat ideas in her tutorial and you have inspired me with your tools and colours! How big will your quilt be when you are finished? I love journalling so I'll just have to get over my bad handwriting! Wow! Nice meeting you Rachel!

Yay!! I am so happy to have another comrade in this crazy project!! :) :) The good thing about this project is that it's not time consuming every day so it won't interfere with our 300 other projects! :) My quilt will end up being King size, with my journal blocks finishing at 4.5 and then 1/2 inch sashing between (still trying to decide on the sashing actually). I will put up my full pattern today if you want to use mine.

Yay!! I am so happy to have someone with me. :)

Cheers!
